Can I Output 2560x1440 or 3840x2160 Content?
No. The NIX Capture Card supports a maximum input and output resolution of 1920x1080 @ 60Hz.
Why the NIX Capture Card Cannot Output 1440p or 4K
The NIX Capture Card's HDMI In and Out ports are HDMI 1.4b, and the card captures video at up to 1920x1080 @ 60Hz. Resolutions above 1920x1080 @ 60Hz are not supported for capture or through the HDMI pass-through port, even if your source device and display support them.
How to Use the NIX Capture Card With a 1440p or 4K Source
Set your source device (console, PC, or camera) to output at 1920x1080 @ 60Hz or lower. If you want to view your source at its full 1440p or 4K resolution, connect your display directly to the source device instead of through the NIX Capture Card.
