No. Using the dock in combination with a physical KVM switch is not recommended or supported.
Why the TBT3-UDV Dock Cannot Be Used With KVM Switches
For switches between the docking station and computer - this docking station requires a direct Thunderbolt 3 connection to the host computer, USB Type-C data switches generally only support USB 5Gbps or 10Gbps data rates and not Thunderbolt 40Gbps data rates and prevent authenticating Thunderbolt connections.
For KVM switches connected "Downstream" from the docking station, we have found that the performance of physical KVM switches varies widely and cannot be guaranteed. Due to this variance we recommend connecting displays, keyboard and mouse directly to the docking station whenever possible. If you experience issues using display, keyboard, or mouse connected through a KVM we recommend trying these devices connected directly to the computer to see if this helps improve the behavior.
Alternative Options
Many modern displays will have multiple inputs, and can be connected to the docking station and a second computer. The docking station or secondary inputs may be selected using the display's on screen menu.
Sharing USB devices like mouse and keyboard may be a bit more difficult, and may require unplugging and plugging the USB cable, or wireless transceiver into the active device.
