Why Plugable Does Not Support Touchscreens on DisplayLink Devices

Because DisplayLink uses virtual graphics processing rather than a direct GPU video pipe, input mapping across multiple displays can easily become misaligned or unresponsive, leading to unreliable performance.
How to Set Up Touchscreens with DisplayLink Devices
If you choose to use a driverless USB HID touchscreen, follow these configuration steps:
- Connect the video cable from the touchscreen monitor to a video port on the Plugable DisplayLink device.
- Connect the USB data cable from the touchscreen monitor directly to a USB port on the host computer or docking station to pass touch inputs.
- Access your host operating system's display settings (such as Tablet PC Settings in Windows) to manually calibrate and map touch inputs to the correct display.
