Plugable recommends the following hardware for use in conjunction with the Plugable TBT5-AI:

1. A host computer that supports Intel Thunderbolt 5, Intel Thunderbolt 4 or USB4

Note - the higher data bandwidth of Thunderbolt 5 will provide improved performance as compared to Thunderbolt 4 and USB4.

Note - host computers with only USB Type-C are NOT supported

2. Windows 11 operating system

macOS and Linux operating systems are not supported

3. A host computer that has at minimum 16GB of RAM

Note - 32GB or more is recommended

4. A host computer that has an 11th generation or newer Intel CPU or Zen 4 or newer AMD CPU

5. A compatible graphics processing unit (GPU)

Note - Plugable bundles certified and compatible GPUs with the TBT5-AI at the time of purchase.
