Plugable introduced an updated version of the UD-ULTC4K docking station in June 2022 based on customer feedback. Depending on when you purchased your device, you may have the original version (sold from November 2017 to May 2022) or the newer version, which features a different port layout and updated capabilities.
How the Original and Updated Versions Differ
Original Version (November 2017 - May 2022):

Updated Version (June 2022 - Present):

- 2x DisplayPort 1.2 or HDMI 2.0 (DisplayLink)
- 1x DisplayPort 1.2 or HDMI 2.0 (Alt Mode)
- 4x USB 3.0 (5Gbps) (Rear)
- 1x Gigabit Ethernet
- 1x 10Gbps USB-C connection to host with 100W (96W Certified) Power Delivery
