How to Choose the Correct Cable Type

You can use either a USB 3.0 Type-A cable or a USB 3.0 Type-C cable to connect the dock to your laptop, depending on your available port configuration. Only one cable is necessary to connect the device, as both types are included initially to enable connecting the UD-3900Z to laptops with different port configurations.
