Despite having multiple USB-C and/or Thunderbolt ports, all our Thunderbolt docks will have a single host port that can connect to the host laptop. This port will be indicated by a laptop symbol, similar to the one below:

Troubleshooting Dock Detection Issues
If you connect a host to a downstream USB-C port, instead of the upstream host port, you will not be able to connect to the dock and access the functionalities. Sometimes, these ports will still charge your laptop if the port supports Power Delivery. This can be a misleading indication that you are connected to the host port, but you still will not be able to utilize the dock. If you are running into issues with dock detection, ensure that you are connecting to the correct host port.
