As of this writing, Plugable officially supports the following versions of Windows and macOS in conjunction with Plugable products based on DisplayLink technology:

All earlier versions of Windows such as Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista or Windows XP are NOT supported.
All earlier versions of macOS such as macOS 13 Ventura, macOS 12 Monterey, macOS 11 Big Sur, macOS 10.15 Catalina and macOS 10.14 Mojave are NOT supported.
Alternatives
For reference, Synaptics (the separate company that developed DisplayLink technology and also develop the software) provides downloads of legacy versions of the DisplayLink software for older operating systems → https://www.synaptics.com/products/displaylink-graphics#downloads
To be clear, Plugable does NOT support the legacy versions of the DisplayLink software provided by Synaptics. Plugable cannot guarantee that the legacy versions of the software will work with Plugable brand DisplayLink products.
