Problems with Hub Connectivity or LEDs not Behaving as Expected

In many cases when a USB hub isn't behaving as expected, this means that the hub controlling chipset is in a bad state. If a hub is not behaving as expected in any way, performing the following reset procedure in the order presented often fixes any issues.

  1. Unplug the power and USB cables from the rear of the hub
  2. Wait ~30 seconds
  3. Re-attach the power cable
  4. Re-attach the USB cable
