Summary
The Plugable USB-C MST video adapters include a built-in USB-C cable for connecting directly to a compatible computer. However, HDMI cables are not included and must be purchased separately to connect your external monitors.

What Cables Are Required?
The adapters include an integrated USB-C host cable, so no additional USB-C cable is needed to connect the adapter to your computer.
To connect your monitors, you will need:
- USBC-MSTH2: Up to two HDMI cables, one for each connected monitor.
- USBC-MSTH3: Up to three HDMI cables, one for each connected monitor.
For best results, use HDMI cables that support the resolution and refresh rate you want to achieve. For 4K at 60Hz, use HDMI 2.0-rated cables or better.
Important Notes
- The built-in USB-C cable connects directly to your computer and does not need to be purchased separately.
- HDMI cables must be supplied separately.
- Your computer's USB-C port must support DisplayPort Alt Mode and MST for multiple independent extended displays.
- Maximum supported resolutions and refresh rates depend on the adapter and your computer's graphics capabilities.
