What Cables Are Included With the NIX Capture Card?

The Plugable NIX Capture Card includes three cables/adapters in the box: a USB 3.0 to USB 3.0 cable, a USB-A to USB-C cable, and a small USB-C male to USB-A 3.0 female adapter.

How to Use Each Included Cable

The standard USB 3.0 to USB 3.0 cable can be used on most modern systems. It connects the capture card to your computer and allows it to communicate with your capture software.

The USB-A to USB-C cable allows a USB Type-C (USB-C) based system (such as a laptop) with a native USB-C port to connect to the NIX Capture Card. The USB-A end (which connects to the capture card) plugs into the NIX Capture Card, and the USB-C end connects to a compatible USB-C based system.

The USB-C male to USB-A 3.0 female adapter can be combined with the USB 3.0 to USB 3.0 cable to connect the capture card to a system with a USB-C port.
