What is BC1.2? Battery Charging 1.2 is a technology that allows USB-A ports to charge at up to 7.5W. This technology also allows the dock to charge your devices without the dock being connected to a host as long as the dock is powered on.

The leftmost USB-A port on the UD-6950PDH is labeled with a lightning bolt supports up to 7.5W charging using BC1.2 technology.

The front facing USB-C port supports the standard USB-C 7.5W of charging. Please note that since this port does not support BC1.2 the dock will need to be connected to a host in order to charge a device.
