Applicable To

Plugable TBT4-HUB3C Thunderbolt 4 and USB4 Hub

When a Plugable TBT4-HUB3C hub is not functioning as expected, it is commonly resolved by verifying the physical power connections and ensuring the included Thunderbolt 4 cable is connected to the correct ports. Please follow the steps below to check your setup.

Instructions

Check that the included power adapter is securely connected to the hub's power input port. The hub will not work if the power adapter is not connected.

Ensure the power cable is securely connected to the power adapter brick.

Verify that the power cable is securely plugged into a working electrical power outlet.

Confirm you are using the original Plugable Thunderbolt 4 cable included with your hub. This cable has a small white cable 'flag' attached to it that provides the cable specifications and product model.

Connect the Thunderbolt 4 cable to the single Thunderbolt 4 host connection port located on the front of the hub.

Connect the other end of the Thunderbolt 4 cable securely to a Thunderbolt 4 port on your host computer.

Expected Result

When the TBT4-HUB3C is connected to a working power outlet, a solid white power indicator light will illuminate on the front of the unit. Once successfully connected to and detected by a compatible host computer, the indicator light will change from white to green.
