I accidentally connected a 12V power supply instead of the included 5V power supply and damaged my hub. My devices attached to the hub may have also been damaged. What can I do?

Unfortunately, as this is considered user error, we cannot repair or replace any damaged items under warranty.

Over Voltage

Connecting a 12V power supply to a 5V electronic device delivers more than double its maximum rated voltage, which almost always results in immediate and permanent damage. The excess voltage forces excessive current through sensitive integrated circuits, microcontrollers, and capacitors, causing them to rapidly overheat, burn out, or physically pop-a phenomenon often accompanied by a distinct burning smell and visible smoke.
